Publish a changelog entry after each release or on a fixed schedule (weekly or bi-weekly). Show a notification dot or badge on the changelog icon in the app whenever a new entry is published so users know there is something new.
Create a structured entry with sections for New Features, Improvements, and Bug Fixes. Each item should be one sentence with a clear description and an optional link to learn more.
Show a notification badge on the changelog icon or "What's New" button in the app. When clicked, open a slide-out panel or page displaying the latest entry with all previous entries below.
Pin the most significant change to the top of the entry with a visual callout (icon, badge, or color). This ensures the biggest news is not lost among minor fixes.
For major updates, link each item to a help article, video demo, or feature tour so interested users can dive deeper without cluttering the changelog itself.
At the end of each month (or after major releases), send a digest email summarizing all changes to users who opted in. Include a CTA to "See all updates" in the app.
