When to Use This Template
Present this checklist to account administrators or workspace owners after initial sign-up, particularly in B2B products where multiple configuration steps are required before the team can start using the product.
Template Breakdown
Verify email address
Require the admin to click the verification link sent to their email. Display the checklist item as pending until the email is confirmed, and offer a resend option.
Set up billing information
Guide the admin to the billing page to enter a payment method. Explain that no charges will occur until the trial ends, reducing friction around payment entry.
Configure workspace settings
Direct the admin to the workspace settings to customize the workspace name, default timezone, language, and notification preferences for the entire team.
Import existing data
Offer an import wizard for CSV, API, or third-party platform migration. Explain that importing existing data will let the team start with context rather than from scratch.
Set up user roles and permissions
Walk the admin through creating roles (admin, member, viewer) and assigning permissions. Pre-populate sensible defaults and explain what each permission controls.
Send team invitations
Provide a bulk invite form where the admin can paste multiple email addresses. Show a preview of the invitation email before sending.
