Slack and Discord get you the alert; Zapier gets you the workflow. The Produktly Zapier integration turns every selected in-app event into a webhook that any Zap can listen to. From there, Zapier handles the destination: HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Notion, Airtable, Google Sheets, Linear, Jira, Mailchimp, Customer.io, Mixpanel — every major SaaS app.

What the Produktly + Zapier integration does

The Zapier integration adds these capabilities to your Produktly account.

Use any Produktly event as a Zap trigger

Available events: feedback responses, NPS responses (created and updated), roadmap feature requests, checklist step completions, checklist finishes, tour starts, tour continues, tour steps, tour finishes, smart tip availability and opens, and changelog post views.

Reach 6,000+ destination apps

Zapier handles the destination. The Produktly side is the Catch Hook trigger; everything you can do with Zapier downstream applies.

Multi-step Zaps for richer workflows

Use Zapier filters, paths, formatter, and webhook steps to branch by NPS score, format dates, look up users in your CRM before logging the response — all without writing code.

Per-event-set routing

Add multiple Zapier integrations in Produktly, each with its own Zap webhook URL and its own selected events. Cleanly separates concerns: one Zap for NPS to HubSpot, another for feature requests to Linear, etc.

How the Zapier integration works

Produktly's Zapier integration is webhook-based. You give Produktly a Catch Hook webhook URL from a Zap, choose which events should fire, and the matching Produktly events stream into your Zap.

  1. Create a new Zap in Zapier and choose Webhooks by Zapier → Catch Hook as the trigger.

  2. Copy the unique webhook URL Zapier generates.

  3. Add a Zapier integration in Produktly, paste the URL, choose which events should fire, and activate.

  4. Trigger a real event in your product (e.g., submit feedback). It will appear in Zapier as sample data.

  5. Add the destination step in Zapier and turn the Zap on.

How to set up the Zapier integration with Produktly

Setup typically takes about five minutes. You'll need a Produktly account and a Zapier account.

Create a new Zap in Zapier

In Zapier, click Create Zap. For the trigger, choose "Webhooks by Zapier" → event "Catch Hook." Zapier generates a unique webhook URL for this Zap — copy it.

Add the Zapier integration in Produktly

In your Produktly dashboard, go to Integrations and click the Zapier tile. Paste the Zapier webhook URL into the "Zapier Webhook URL" field and give the integration a clear name (e.g., "Zapier - feedback to HubSpot").

Choose which events should fire

Tick "All events" or pick specific event types. Only selected events will be forwarded to Zapier.

Activate the integration

Click Activate. From this point on, every matching event is delivered to Zapier.

Capture a real event in Zapier

Back in Zapier, trigger the Catch Hook by performing the matching action in your product (submit a feedback message, answer an NPS, etc.). The payload appears as sample data in Zapier's trigger step.

Add and configure the destination step

Add a second step in your Zap. Choose the destination app (HubSpot, Google Sheets, Linear, Mailchimp, etc.), map Produktly fields to the destination's fields, test, and turn the Zap on.

Data sent to Zapier

Zapier receives the full Produktly event payload. Common fields include:

  • Event type (e.g., feedback_response_created, nps_response_created, feature_request_created, checklist_finished, tour_finish)
  • Widget metadata (widget id, name, and type)
  • User identifier, email, and any custom user properties you forwarded with identifyUser
  • Response content (message, score, comment, vote, step name)
  • Page URL, referrer, timestamp
  • Browser, OS, device, screen resolution

Common use cases for the Zapier integration

Real-world ways customers use the Produktly + Zapier integration in production.

Sync feedback to your CRM as contact notes

Every in-app feedback message becomes a note on the corresponding HubSpot or Salesforce contact with the page URL and timestamp. Your sales team sees a fuller picture of every account.

Log NPS scores to a Google Sheet for monthly reporting

Append a row per NPS response: score, comment, user email, date. Share the sheet with leadership for monthly retention reviews.

Create a Linear ticket from every bug-shaped feedback

Filter feedback messages containing words like 'bug,' 'broken,' or 'error' and create a Linear issue with the user's message, page URL, and browser details prefilled.

Re-engage users who started but didn't finish a checklist

Trigger on checklist_step_completed but not checklist_finished. After a delay, enroll the user in a Mailchimp sequence that nudges them through the next step.

Frequently asked questions about the Produktly + Zapier integration

Questions teams ask before connecting Zapier with Produktly.

Do I need a paid Zapier plan?

Zapier's free plan handles single-step Zaps for a limited monthly task allowance. For multi-step Zaps, filters, and higher task limits, you'll need a paid Zapier plan. There is no extra cost on the Produktly side.

Which Produktly events can trigger Zaps?

Feedback responses, NPS responses (created and updated), roadmap feature requests, checklist step completions, checklist finishes, tour starts, tour continues, tour steps, tour finishes, smart tip availability and opens, and changelog post views.

Can I filter which events trigger the Zap?

Two ways. First, the Produktly Zapier integration only forwards events you tick. Second, add a Zapier filter step to branch on the payload fields (NPS score, message contents, user properties, etc.).

Can I use multiple Zaps with one Produktly account?

Yes. Add multiple Zapier integrations in Produktly, each with its own webhook URL from a separate Zap and its own event selection.

What about Make (formerly Integromat) or n8n?

Use Produktly's custom webhook integration for those. Any HTTPS endpoint that accepts a JSON POST works — see the Webhooks integration.

Is Zapier on every Produktly plan?

Yes. The Zapier integration is included on every paid Produktly plan and in the 14-day free trial.
