Do I need a Bubble plugin to add product tours?
No. Produktly loads from one script in Bubble's header settings. A plugin that can run JavaScript, such as Toolbox, is only useful if you want your Bubble workflows to call Produktly, for example to mark a checklist step complete.
Does checklist progress persist for each user in a Bubble app?
Yes, once you call window.Produktly.identifyUser with the Current User's unique id. Produktly stores checklist progress for that user, so it survives page reloads, new sessions and other devices, with no extra field on your User data type.
Can a Bubble workflow complete a checklist step?
Yes. Run window.Produktly.markChecklistStepCompleted({ checklistId, stepId }) from a JavaScript action in your workflow. The step id is shown at the bottom of the step in Produktly's checklist editor.
How do I point a tooltip at a Bubble element?
Enable ID attributes in Settings → General (Advanced options), give the element an ID such as signup-button, and select it in Produktly's editor. IDs stay the same when you restyle the page, unlike Bubble's generated class names.
