Roadmap Settings
Roadmaps have many settings to control their appearance and behavior. Access settings by clicking "Edit settings" on your roadmap.
Basic Information
- Roadmap Name - Internal name for your reference
- Roadmap Public Name/Title - The name shown to visitors. Defaults to the internal name if left empty.
Appearance
- Logo URL - Optional URL to a logo image displayed on the roadmap
- Brand / Theme Color - The accent color used throughout the roadmap
Feature Toggles
Voting
- Allow voting / Show votes - When enabled, visitors can upvote roadmap items
Comments
- Allow commenting / Show comments - When enabled, visitors can leave comments on roadmap items (enabled by default)
- Auto-approve comments - When enabled, comments appear immediately without manual approval
Feature Requests
- Allow feature requests - When enabled, visitors can submit new feature requests
- Ask for email on feature requests - When enabled, an email field is shown on the feature request form (enabled by default)
- Require email on feature requests - When enabled, email is required to submit a feature request
- Auto-approve feature requests - When enabled, feature requests are automatically published without manual approval
Description Preview
- Show description preview for items - When enabled, a preview of item descriptions is shown in the roadmap list view
Embedded Changelog
- Show embedded changelog - When enabled, your changelog is embedded as a tab in the roadmap
Back Button
- Show "back" button - When enabled, a back button is shown in the roadmap header
- Type: "Previous page" (browser back) or "Link" (custom URL)
- Back button link - When type is "Link", the URL to navigate to
User Authentication

- Login / Signup URL - The URL users are redirected to for login
- Require users to be logged in to vote and request features - When enabled, unauthenticated users see a login prompt when trying to vote or submit feature requests

Text Customization
Roadmaps have extensive text customization with 40+ configurable text fields covering tabs, buttons, labels, placeholders, and more. All text fields support localization for multi-language roadmaps.
Key customizable texts include:
- Tab names ("Roadmap", "Request Features", "Changelog")
- Filter labels ("Default", "Votes", "Newest", "Oldest")
- Feature request form labels and placeholders
- Comment section text
- Login prompts
- Back button text
- Empty state messages
