Shopify Integration

Produktly integrates with Shopify to let you add product tours, checklists, and other Produktly features to your Shopify store.

Installation​

  1. Install the Produktly app from the Shopify App Store
  2. After installation, you'll be taken to the Produktly settings page within your Shopify admin

Setup​

Step 1: Enter your Produktly Auth Token​

  1. Log in to your Produktly dashboard
  2. Go to Settings > Installation and copy your Client Auth Token
  3. In the Shopify Produktly settings page, paste the token into the "Produktly Auth Token" field
  4. Click "Save"

Step 2: Enable the app embed in your theme​

  1. Click "Open Theme Editor" in the Produktly settings
  2. In the Shopify theme editor, enable the Produktly app embed
  3. Save your theme

Settings​

Identify logged-in customers​

When enabled, Produktly automatically identifies logged-in Shopify customers by sending their email, name, and order count. This enables:

  • Personalized targeting based on customer data
  • User segmentation for more targeted tours and messages
  • Progress tracking across devices and sessions

How it works​

Once installed and configured, the Produktly script is automatically loaded on your Shopify store. You can then create product tours, announcements, feedback widgets, and all other Produktly features that target your store's pages.
